Don't worry, he will soon leave OKC high and dry to join up with a healthy Rose and Lamarcus Aldridge on a super team in the weak eastern conference. Then he will proceed to win back to back titles, all will be forgotten and he will get all the credit for winning while they make Rose and Lamarcus out to be just average role players.

Sound familiar?

Durant on losing(paraphrase)

Everything that happened was meant to happen. We'll keep improving.

I don't know why.. but every time he loses he says they lost cause it was 'meant' to happen.    Something about having that kind of mentality really bothers me.. idk why.

compare it to Westbrook(paraphrase)

It sucks to lose. We WILL be back here. We will be back.

idk Wesbrook just seems like the leader here.

What I saw late in game 6 was without Westbrook driving the lane and drawing fouls OKC wouldnt had been in the game 6 at all.

But heres Game Stats-

4th qt + 1OT

Westbrook: 9-10 FT, 4-15 FG, 3 TO

Durant: 5-6 FT, 3-7 FG, 1 TO

But no matter what I remember the play when Durant broke his own ankles, fell and turned the ball over.
It was a key possession .because OKC could have went up by 3 or 4. Instead SAS went up by 1 in transition.

When will Parker, Duncan, Manu, Leonard and the 50-ppg bench be praised?

There's gold and it's haunting and haunting; it's luring me on as of old; Yet it isn't the gold that I'm wanting So much as just finding the gold; It's the great, big, broad land 'way up yonder, It's the forest where silence has lease; It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder, It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

Interesting thread.

Let's look at Michael Jordan's start to his career:

Lost 1st round (Age 21)

Lost 1st round

Lost 1st round

Lost 2nd round

Lost conference finals

Lost conference finals

Won NBA Finals (Age 27)

Durant's start to his career:

Missed playoffs (Age 19)

Missed playoffs

Lost first round

Lost conference finals

Lost NBA Finals

Lost 2nd round

Lost conference finals (Age 25)

Durant is at the age where the criticism begins to grow and you started seeing that a little bit last season, but began to grow more this year. Same with LeBron in his final two years with Cleveland which also was when he was 24-25 years old.

The difference is that Durant has Westbrook who takes a lot of blame because of his style of play. Eventually that goes away and people will start pointing fingers at the MVP.

IMO Westbrook has the better mindset. People get on him but I personally love him, I think he's nasty and is tough as nails

First of all, Scott Brooks needs to fired. At this point, he is just a puppet by Durant and Westbrook. Second, the Thunder need a legit third scorer. Durant and Westbrook can't carry this team every single game. Finally, like Majesty said, Durant needs to be more SELFISH period. He needs to demand the ball from Westbrook. He's too good of a player to have Westbrook just dominate the game every single game.

Spurs held okc to 1/11 shooting in ot. Pretty impressive after giving up such a big lead...with no TP

Praying for 1. Kobe's Health (looks pretty good so far), 2. High Draft Pick (Randle...injured game #1.*sigh*) 3. Miracle Trade (Not yet), 4. Quality Free Agent (Boozer, kind of, Davis, nice upside!), 5. Brilliant Coaching Hire (Byron!...but the jury is out)
