cool story ….by that logic that makes the celtics look far less impressive….

thats all well and great SAS was the only rival to the shaq kobe lakers
however take a  list the laker hall of famers from 1976 onwards and SAS hall of famers and you see a noticeable gap from a franchise perspective

agreed but that's because nothing happened there till Robinson joined. 10 years of wasting time being a expansion team in a small market. Look how far they've come. It's impressive to me

Don't waste your time. Bias is strong around these parts.

You can be a Laker fan and still respect other team's or player's accomplishments.

People are still seemingly butthurt over the last time the Spurs beat the Lakers in the playoffs.

I'm just being objective and giving props where due. Im sure theres Spurs fans that look at KBs career and all hes done and feel the same respect and admiration even though hes not on their team.
Again....."GAME RECOGNIZE GAME".

But truth be told Ive never had animosity towards SA. Sure they beat LAL. We beat them to. They were competitive and we should be thankful for that. They built their entire team from the ground up. No major acquisitions from anywhere and that includes the coach. In this generation we cant honestly say that except for KB/Fish. We traded for Shaq. Traded for Pau. Traded for Odom. Hired PJ to be our coach. And the difference of power/market size/$ between LA and SA....we all know.

Im not a fan of the Spurs. But I appreciate the Spurs.

Me as well.

I don't get the hate for the Spurs at all. Have they beaten the Lakers when it mattered? Have the Lakers beaten them when it mattered? Yep. But I don't see how that somehow makes so many completely disregard why they've accomplished and continue to accomplish.

I think a lot of it is simply childish jealousy at the longevity of their run.
