Sources tell http://Hoopscritic.com  that Deron Williams wants out of Brooklyn as badly as they want to deal him. http://hoopscritic.com .

Good luck getting rid of that contract that is tied to a player who has two bad ankles.

We dodged a bullet by not getting him back in the day. I remember wanting him.

I suppose the Knicks could be the one team that'd be willing to consider taking on Deron Williams, if they took on a few of their bad deals, like JR Smith and Amare Stoudemire.

Those ankles.

He has to get shots before every game now. I'm not sure if that's something anyone wants to invest 100~ million into.

With that said, look for the Knicks to make a push.

Doubt it.  Since they will most likely be running a variation of the triangle in NY, a point guard like Deron Williams is not needed. I'd be surprised if Phil made a mistake like acquiring Deron.

I'm with you. I think the Knicks will be like what we were last year. Wont do any trades that could potentially screw them for the season after the current (2014-2015) season. Then they can have a clean slate to work with, unless some ridiculous deal falls into their laps that gives them a player worth paying for the next few years.

May not be Phil making that decision though

I doubt it too, I'm just mocking the Knicks tradition of acquiring these types of players.

But with Phil in charge (seemingly) I don't really see that happening.

I can't believe how far he's fallen, there was once a time when it was argued he was better than CP3.

Why would Phil resign and miss out on that paycheck?

It feels like it was only yesterday that he was a top 2/3 PG and making Boozer look like a beast.

There's gold and it's haunting and haunting; it's luring me on as of old; Yet it isn't the gold that I'm wanting So much as just finding the gold; It's the great, big, broad land 'way up yonder, It's the forest where silence has lease; It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder, It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

It's sad seeing how far he's fallen. Used to be one of my favorite players.
