It's decent. Just that other headphones are better with better price.

So it is consistent with rest of apple's lineup

Great post

iPhones haven't upgraded screen size cause of battery (androids usually trade-off for this)

But in the future, the 6, is reported to have 4.7 and 5.5 inch screens with sapphire not faulty gorilla glass most phones have nowadays. But we won't see performance till later

Im not a fan of android os.

I prefer simpler more user friendly devices. I don't customize my phone. I use it to call and text music web browse snapchat Instagram and occasionally play a game while waiting for something.

If you like having full customization that's more of a preference topic

I have a laptop to do other stuff lmfao...

What's so hard about Android ? I think it's pretty intuitive once you get used to it. I haven't used iOS so I can't say if it's easier or more user friendly.

It's been known that the reason they never went bigger screen size was Steve Jobs refused for the longest time. He barely approved the 4" models simply because he was quouted as saying the original iPhone screen size is perfect for one hand use and if you want a bigger screen get a tablet.

I'm not biased at all I've used: Windows Mobile, iOS, Android, webOS, Windows Phone OS, Firefox OS, etc. I have to say they all have their pro's and con's and to this day my company phone is a iPhone but I keep a Nexus 7 for my tablet at home.

I always preferred webOS but it just never took off which was too bad. Android in my opinion has come a long way in user friendliness and is not hard at all to operate especially the newest iteration.

At the end of the day though it always comes down to personal opinion. Whenever I'm asked for recommendations I always say go to a carrier store and play around with different operating systems. There's no perfect OS for everyone out there.

Not having to use the abomination known as Itunes makes it automatically easier and less frustrating to use pretty much any smartphone IMO

Beats radio was also a big part of it too.

The Apple version wasn't competing well enough with Pandora and Spotify, so they just bought the 3rd place service to combine with theirs.

I don't think it's 3rd, I know Google Music had gotten real high too.

Oh really? Didn't know that. The article I read on one of the tech sites (I think it was cnet) mentioned the beats streaming service being pretty high up, don't remember which position exactly.

Anyway, Apples thinking is combine their service/subscribers with Beats to better compete against the services they trail.

^ yea it's been pretty bad for Beats Music, the thing with iTunes Radio is it's baked in so we'll never get true numbers to how much it's used from Apple.

Just because millions of consumers wear your headphones doesn't mean they're going to use your streaming music service. That's apparently a lesson Beats is learning the hard way. Billboard reports that Beats Music is off to a slow start and has put together disappointing subscription numbers in its first 100 days since launch. The total paid subscriber count is said to be somewhere in the "low six figures" range. And that's after a generous free trial window and a major marketing push. Beats showcased its young streaming music app with a perfectly timed Richard Sherman spot and a pricey Super Bowl ad. But industry insiders tell BIllboard that Beats Music isn't yet taking off like anyone had hoped.

The company was late to a market with established players like Spotify, Rdio, and Google Play Music All Access; many listeners have already picked a side. But Billboard also notes that music labels remain committed to Beats Music for the "long term." And investors appear eager to chip in, too. Beats Music is said to be nearing the close of another funding round that could see it raise up to $100 million. Spotify currently has over 6 million paying customers, so Beats seems to be growing at a healthy rate — even if it's not blowing away expectations.

Still, the competition is only growing more intense. In the same report, Billboardclaims that Spotify and Sprint will soon partner up and offer free Spotify Premium access to the carrier's "Framily" subscribers. The name is still awful, but joining in may soon carry some extra benefits. Spotify CEO Daniel Ek is rumored to announce the business partnership on April 29th.

So the beats now will be more expensive with that Apple on its sides.
