I wouldn't even be surprised if the Heat go 16-0, 16-1, or 16-2 with the chance that they won't even see the Spurs or Thunder.

Miami will can most definitly sweep the East or come very close. Looking at the West, there is competition among each other, but no clear favorite to get out. Before the playoffs I would have thought San Antonio or OKC. Even if one of those teams make it out now, they have a very strong chance of losing very fast in the finals. Exciting first round, however it is turning into a easy path for Miami.

I would like to see Heat - Nets.

I don't think it would be an easy one for Miami.

The Raptors match up well with the Heat.

The Nets would get slaughtered.

The Blazers, Clippers and Grizzlies are all tougher match ups and better teams than the Spurs or Thunder.

Miami would roll over either.

There's gold and it's haunting and haunting; it's luring me on as of old; Yet it isn't the gold that I'm wanting So much as just finding the gold; It's the great, big, broad land 'way up yonder, It's the forest where silence has lease; It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder, It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

No Z-bo so i cant see the grizz overcoming that on okc floor

Praying for 1. Kobe's Health, 2. High Draft Pick (Randle!) 3. Miracle Trade (Not yet), 4. Quality Free Agent (Boozer, kind of), 5. Brilliant Coaching Hire (Byron!...but the jury is out)

There are no exciting match-ups really. All very predictable.

99% sure there will not be one upset in any round in either conference.

Worst prediction ever

I've got Pacers winning tonight and getting slaughtered in the next round, and OKC and the Clippers both winning big and easily, though I hope the Clippers lose.  I have the Heat winning the ring, same as I did at the beginning of the season, the talent gap between LBJ and whomever is next best is just too wide, its still his time for a few more years.

You think the Grizzlies are going to beat the Thunder with Randolph out and Conley hobbled?  I don't see it, hope it happens but seems extremely unlikely.

What looked like upsets in the NBA playoffs, settled right back into its same old boring predictable pattern.

Yawn.  And now the playoffs are a bore.

Man if you cant get excited about how all teams but chicago and bobcats were balling this round, you just dont appreciate good basketball.

Wiz and Blazers were lower seeds that won...and 2 games left w possible upsets coming.

I'll take well played, tight long series over sweeps any day...even if the lakers arent involved...

Hope the 2nd round is 1/2 as good but not expecting it to be.

Basketball fans wet dream this round imo

If you are looking for underdogs to win, that isn't what is supposed to happen, the teams play a ton of games to decide seeding, and the underdog is the underdog for a reason, generally the better team wins, and that is exactly what has happened thus far in the playoffs, with arguably the exception of Portland against Houston (who are extremely evenly matched).  There have been a ton of good games and multiple series going to 7 games where underdogs have played very well to take it to 7 games.  Atlanta is an abortion of a team, took the Pacers to 7.  I would say the Warriors could play the Clippers 100 times in a 7 game series and lose almost every time, they just don't match up right, taking the Clippers to 7 was great drama and very entertaining, and they almost pulled it off.  Houston versus Portland was one of the greatest first round matchups of all time.  The Grizzlies went multiple overtimes against OKC.  The Heat casually demolished a team and got a week off.  There are a lot of story lines here, and if you can't enjoy watching great players play meaningful games in very closely contested series just because the Lakers aren't around, that is your problem, to say these NBA playoffs have been a bore is insane, this was the best first round I have ever seen, and I have been watching NBA basketball obsessively for over 20 years.

Hockey playoffs blow the NBA playoffs away - consistently.  Not looking for underdogs to always win, but I'm also not looking for the most predictable things to constantly happen year after year either.

You can have all the drama, that's great, but in the end the same damn results happen every time.  It's wearing thin.

1 round does not a playoffs make.  Unpredictability about the victor of a round would be great to have.

Ignoring the amount of games it would take I got the entire first round right.

I admit though I was wrong about Memphis. Thought they had no shot.
