Right but this match up favors him heavily. They're great games but its nothing above what he can do when he isn't defended at all.

Nice to have after a pretty boring regular season

Happily wrong about saying no upsets will happen if Memphis and Portland pull these series out.

Happily wrong about saying no upsets will happen if Memphis and Portland pull these series out.

And even if they don't..wow has this been great bball so far across the board.

Might be seeing some of the best right now as a lot of times you wait for certain matchups and when they happen they fizzle.

Maybe that CBA is working like Stern hoped?

Praying for 1. Kobe's Health (looks pretty good so far), 2. High Draft Pick (Randle...injured game #1.*sigh*) 3. Miracle Trade (Not yet), 4. Quality Free Agent (Boozer, kind of, Davis, nice upside!), 5. Brilliant Coaching Hire (Byron!...but the jury is out)

Problem is the same powers will win the ring.  The door is so ridiculously wide open for Miami.

And without the upsets, if the standard seeds win, I just lose interest.  Don't like to see teams I don't care for keep getting through.

^ You should talk with folks that hate the lakers for that same reason.

Plus at least we should note that a different WC team has been to the finals these past 3 yrs v Miami.

And The lakers faced 6 different teams in the 7 finals they went to during the 2000-2010 run.

pacers

sixers

nets

pistons

celtics (2)

orlando

Harder to get rivalries really going if the teams keep changing...

I'd add that every team is a freak injury away from not winning it.

Remember when the lakers back in 89 were sailing through the playoffs and had so much time before the finals Riley worked them extra hard. Then Byron goes down before the series, and Magic follows. End of dynasty.

Me and some friends thought that was so f'd up we were SURE the series was fixed.

S#it happens.

Enjoy it for what it is. Teams that are trying on almost every possession. Players amped up and some performances for the ages.

...Cause next season aint gonna be too much different by the looks of things

Thunder, Pacers won today. Nets and Bulls won yesterday as well. Thank god. Don't want it a cake walk for the Heat.

The Thunder and the Pacers have shown enough in their first rounds to understand that the Heat would cakewalk through both of them.

The Bulls would get swept by the Heat or at best they can make it another boring 5 game series.

The Mavs, Grizz, Hawks are just clearing the way for Lebron's third ring.

In the past 2 games, Kevin Durant has been shutdown by Tony Allen.

Yet everyone downplays Kobe's performance vs Allen.

If the Nets win tomorrow and close up the series in 5, they will be able to rest up for their matchup vs the Heat.

They swept them in the regular season, so they should be able to take them the full 7 games. After that, if the Pacers can just get their [expletive]ing [expletive] together, they can possibly meet them in the ECF and push them to another full 7 games. Then, hopefully the Mavericks or the Spurs, or the Thunder can unload everything they got.

I have respect for Vince Carter and Nowtzki. Would be happy for them if they won it all.

PACERS ARE PATHETIC

Yep. I must say I was wrong regarding those guys. I had them winning it all. Early on they seemed so damn good with everyone single one of their guys showing improvement, but these final months/weeks/days, they've been horrible.

It will be interesting to see what happens next with these boys. Unless they un-[expletive] themselves right about now, they'll get bounced by an underwhelming Hawks team, which would be a complete disaster. Especially considering the pending free agency of Lance ('14), Hibbert ('15) and West ('15).

if the heat sweep the eastern conference i wouldn't be surprised. who do they have next? nets? raptors? then wizards (assuming they win against bulls and hawks)?
