Tonight is the most important Laker game since G7 of the finals four years ago. Nervous?

It can all fall into place tonight.

Flying into Utah on a back to back, I would be extremely surprised if we came out with a victory.

I might watch just to see a game that both teams are trying not to win. Should be very entertaining.

Actually i will watch the suns/mem game that has 8th seed in west on the line.

Praying for 1. Kobe's Health, 2. High Draft Pick (Randle!) 3. Miracle Trade (Not yet), 4. Quality Free Agent (Boozer, kind of), 5. Brilliant Coaching Hire (Byron!...but the jury is out)

What about any of the way the Lakers have been playing makes you think they won't try to win?  If the Jazz come out with half an effort than unless the Lakers legs fail them they're going to beat them down likely.

Smarter to DVR the laker game imo. Then never get around to watching it.

Suns/Grizz should be playoff intensity so better to watch that in real time and not know final score

It's funny how people expect the Lakers to win when this is the same team that got swept by the Bucks and have lost 2 of 3 to the Jazz this season.

Second of a back to back as well.

Not sure if its a definite loss, but I would say its more than likely.

They are also the same team that beat the Thunder and blew out the Suns.

This Lakers team is either really high or really low, if they are on tonight they'll be very tough to beat.   Jazz if they bring a half of an effort is likely gonna get beat by us because we won't.

This has been a season of disappointment. People expect the worst.

55 times this year this team has proved to be incapable of playing well.  Flukes against good team doesn't show what they could be, it shows that they are able to have their night every now and then.  42 points from Meeks against the Thunder propelled the team to a victory and a win versus a Suns team that might not even make the playoffs doesn't mean much.

As I've said many times this year, if the Lakers can hit their threes at a high clip and their opponent has a terrible night offensively, the Lakers will win.  The defense will be non-existent like its been every single night.

Being confident in this team winning any game is just funny to me.  I'm shocked if they are even competitive in games, much less winning them, regardless if its the Miami Heat or the Milwaukee Bucks.

It's a defense mechanism to lessen the potential disappointment.
