Steve Nash has sprained his left ankle, might not reurn tonight. Has 7 points and 7 assists in 10 minutes.

Steve Nash twisted his L ankle, per the Lakers. He's in the locker room getting treatment. Team will update his status at halftime.

Nash is back, by the way. Seems to be moving okay.

Nash has not been, and won't be, at 100% this season. He's battling through pain, as he did again tonight. He won't return.

About Nash leaving the game, Vitti tells Sager; "Nash's body has broken down."

April Fools?

Nope. Heard Sager literally report it myself during the game. No way in heck he'd joke about such a thing and he never said afterwards he was anyway.

While the Lakers will likely keep Steve Nash next season, the former two-time MVP says “next year is not guaranteed.” http://bit.ly/1mIow5C

All of Nash's tenure with the Lakers has been an April's Fool.

What happens to Nash's contract if he retires?

It’s highly doubtful Nash would return tomorrow at SAC on a back to back. LAL play next on Friday (vs. DAL) and Sunday (at LAC).

Just take a damn medical retirement. This is so dumb. No one is winning here with him playing. He's gonna play 10 games if he's lucky next season.

Id rather have 9 million in cap space this off-season then an extra 3 million the next 3 years.

Just get rid of the guy. I love him but he's done.

When the team trainer says your body is broken then they shouldn't be allowed to play. Having to rest a month to play 2 games means you aren't fit for the NBA

He can't medically retire because he played 10 games this season

for next season. And he should have done it earlier this season,
