No one will take nash even if its for a bag of chips. Just deal with it now and next year be over it.

Nash's contract becomes a hot commodity for any team trying to not end up as a Tax Repeater.  If he retires medically, that money drops from their cap immediately, IIRC, since it will likely have been a year since he's played.

No man, Steve Nash is healthy now. I have complete faith that he'll contribute this season. Nash wouldn't want to go out like that.

If there's anyone in the league that puts in work comparable to Kobe, its Steve Nash. If his back can stay right for any extended period this season he's gonna make a huge impact on this team.  Its Steve Nash...he's had an old man game for ten plus years now so being old isn't hurting his style of game but being old is breaking his body.

He will play 10 games. Just enough so we don't get the disabled player exception like he did to us last season.

As soon as he steps foot in Los Angeles the man can barely walk.

It makes no sense for him to retire. Why just give up 10 million dollars? I'm pretty sure he likes living in LA, and he's only got a year left on his contract so I'd doubt he cares about helping the Lakers long term. I can only see him retiring if he gets traded.

Would you walk away from 10 mill? I wouldn't.

At least he tries to get back on the court rather than just sitting on the bench and not putting in the work. I do admire that from him.

Something he's not given enough credit for in the least.

Even if he retires the Lakers will pay him right?

Yep. So the only reason he's playing right now or busting his tail is because he wants to.

My buddy ran into Nash tonight in Toronto. He said Nash looked angry because his daughter just headbutted him in the chin. Sounds like he cant stay healthy even when he is with his family!

Well after all those years playing basketball in the NBA I think is hard for him to quit, what he is gonna do afterwards?
