yea he's pretty much done, drop-off started last year and has only continued

He really helps Miami in the playoffs. He's the guy that does the little things around the court that don't go recorded. It's been tough for him this season though, nice that he gets to end his career on a competing team.

Shane Battier will retire at the end of this season & has accepted a multi-year deal to work for ESPN as a College Hoops analyst next year.

Shane Battier has agreed to join ESPN next season as a college basketball analyst on a multi-year deal.

Battier is playing in the NBA Finals with the Miami Heat and will retire as a player.

Battier reportedly had an offer to run for Senate in his home state of Michigan, but passed.
