Not only is the New Orleans SaintsJimmy Graham re-defining the tight end position, but he has also inspired a NFL rule change. According to the league's vice president of officiating, Dean Blandino, players will no longer be allowed to dunk the ball over the goal post after touchdowns.

Thank you NFL. This was an extremely serous issue that I think I can speak for everyone, was extremely worried about. I for one will sleep much better now that a player can't preform this barbaric act that obviously ruins the entire game. A historic day in the NFL.

this is good actually,

last season when Tony G did his signature dunk he bent/moved the entire goal post and caused a 45 minute delay for the stadium ground crew to replace it and re-balance/level it so it was to NFL regulations for FG kickers. NFL FB doesnt need more reasons to slow down game play.

it also confuses fans because they don't know which sport they're watching. What would happen if baseball had a zone defense and basketball had a extra point kick. To much hysteria.
