Lakers are not winning anything in the next 2 years. If Kobe really wants a 6th, he should consider playing with Durant or Lebron

LeBron James and Kevin Love, easily.

Arguably the greatest franchise ever

This should show how far off the Lakers are. You could get your choice of any 2 guys on that list, as long as one of them isn't Lebron James, the Lakers wouldn't even be favored to make it out of the first round in the current western conference. They have a long long way to go.

8-9 milli for PAu is far too much

He will definitely get it from somewhere though. Maybe Miami or San Antonio. Kwame had a job in the NBA up until this year. Anything is possible

Cut all the crap!! The only way this is going to work is if two stars (not superstars) get together and give us a discount. We then need to find a dominant big man. Hire a defensive minded coach and keep our first pick. I believe if we create a bench from some of our current starters we'll be fine. I would go as far as hiring D Fish and MWP as assistant coaches. That would have to improve our defense. .Definitely better than MDA and Rambis

C'mon dude, be a little optimistic.

At worst, we get Julius Randle and then sign someone of Kyle Lowry's caliber. Add those guys to a healthy Kobe and most of our current team, pick up a veteran or two, perhaps trade for a second rounder, and i think we're a solid team - not a championship team, but good enough that a splash in 2015 and 2016 could take us over the top.
