Hope they dont bring back Dunleavy.....

They chose D'antoni over Dunleavy too who was devastated because he thought he nailed the interview.

JVG would coach but only as an assistant according to him.

Ehh we will see. People change there minds allot. I actually see him fitting in here well.

By what you were saying about Karl, byron must be a loser. He missed the playoffs 9 times and lost in the first round once. Also your acting like Karl has had all these great teams. He's been dealt [expletive] for most of his career and still made the playoffs 23 out of his 25 seasons. Again he was 1 game away from getting a ring in 09.

Scott was games away from beating Pop and the Spurs (lost in 6) and ran into our 3peat Lakers and got swept. You can make a case for both teams being superior to our back to back Lakers.

You can't hold him accountable for his 3 seasons in Cleveland. He signed and LeBron immediately left, he was dealt a bad hand with a perennial lottery team.

His first season as a coach is excusable as well because that was a terrible Nets team that won 26 games before Kidd arrived.

When Scott has gotten to the playoffs, he's done good. He's only lost to the Spurs and the Lakers. That's respectable.

And of course Karl and the Nuggets in 2009 (you could've used that for your argument), but he didn't have nearly as much talent as Karl did that season.

Steve Nash will coach this team next year. Book it.

You could say the same thing about Scott that you say about D'antoni aside from the fact Scott got to the finals twice and ran into dynasties.

You could say he caught lightning in a bottle with Jason Kidd and then Chris Paul.

But ultimately I think Byron is a solid coach.  He just isn't the guy that can 'do much with nothing' unless he has a game changing point guard.  Just like another coach....

But really Byron is solid.

Byron is old school and seem to have adapted Riley's style. The same style he got tired of as a player. Lol

My biggest point here is that Karl isn't a loser like your saying. I'm not saying we hire him. I still think if 10 years ago he left for a better franchise he would have a few rings. Byron had his moments but he is a risk being that his last few seasons even without LeBron were beyond horrid. He would have to go into a rebuilding team which he has shown he struggles with.

If folks are looking for coach's that are proven, what is the criteria? Rings? Playoff experience? Offense? Defense? Seems like folk wanted anybody but MDA a minute ago.

he's the funniest freaking person in the world with his comparisons to farm life when describing another team...

I would enjoy it strictly for the WIRED segments ...

"Now listen guys.  They're on us like a Jack Rabbit in the middle of hunting season and all ya'll are acting like you don't know where the cat is at.  Now we gotta lock down on defense like a tracker in a cornfield before ma calls us for supper or we don't get no turkey! Now let's go out there and get some turkey!!!"

George Karl is a big fat no from me. Career loser. You can't fire D'Antoni and then hire another proven loser. That's just stupid.

George Karl...coach of the year with a record of 57 and 25 last year with a starting lineup of Ty Lawson, Gallo, Iggy Faried and Koufos is a proven loser?

Get out of town. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about.
