With Sunday likely marking the last game Derek Fisher will play at Staples Center, Derek Fisher talks about his relationship with Kobe Bryant, saying that from a basketball perspective Bryant is his all-time favorite teammate.

Gotta' love D-Fish. Still & will always be a Laker at heart. He tried to help us today, but it just wasn't enough. Maybe if they would've drawn up a few more plays to free him up. He's still got some of that uncanny timely shots clutch ability.

I did...

Still love Fish.. I hope the Lakers get to do that one day signing thing for him when he retires. He needs to go out as a Laker.

The Lakers FO knows more than you. Sorry.

I love Fisher. The guy is such a professional winner.

He tried to help us yesterday but unfortunately we wouldn't let him. He was respectfully trying to put us down and out of our misery. True Laker at heart.

I would still sign him knowing he's done. Just don't let him play more than 5 minutes a game. That kind of winning attitude and professionalism is hard to come by. Get him on Brian Shaw or Byron Scott's coaching staff for next seasons team.

Lol @ the look on his face when he realizes what he's doing.

I like Fish. Don't love. Sketchy effectiveness as union pres (though not sure anyone can do that job or even how big a role it is), he also totally screwed mavs and houston when he was with them. Not his finest moments as the wonderful guy he's portrayed to be. And those are BIG negative marks

Still, hit many big shots and was a solid competitor with guts. Still one of the best charge takers ive seen

Praying for 1. Kobe's Health, 2. High Draft Pick (Randle!) 3. Miracle Trade (Not yet), 4. Quality Free Agent (Boozer, kind of), 5. Brilliant Coaching Hire (Byron!...but the jury is out)

Most Lakers "fans" were calling for Fishers head his final year here. True he was awful on defense but he's Gary Payton compared to the PGs we got now.
