Newly appointed Canadian men's national basketball team general manager Steve Nash tells Bill Simmons that he is hoping his team qualifies for the 2016 Olympics. Bill is not buying his humility and explains that the team, featuring Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett, Robert Sacre, Tyler Ennis, and Kelly Olynyk, could win some games. Also, Simmons suggests a uniform design that could win some fans.

Nash too old and broke down to represent his country...

But not too old and hurt to collect 20$ million from the lakers

Loved Nash for many many years

Now?
Dude is one of the most hated lakers ever

Sacre better start getting in Wiggins' ear about leaving Cleveland for LA.

Not for nothing, but Sacre has been playing very well.

Sacre has really done 10000% more than even lakers fans expected

When he was drafted, i wqs just fun to say his name everytine he touched the ball...

'Sacre blur' (in a outrageous french accent)

But...
At some point last season... We realized. Wow. Sacre is the lakers best low post defender...
Wow. Sacre is the lakers best screen and roll 'roll' man

Sacre has turned into a quality nba rotational player. And... Dare I say it... Possible nba starter?

I think after a dozen games from hill or so, sacre begins to start... (Unless hill plays his heart out an stops doing his Dwight Howard impressions on the bench)

Sacre will never be a quality NBA starter, at least not for a team that's not bottom 5.  He's a bad streak from being out of the league and a good streak from actually having his 2015-16 year guaranteed.

Are you a bitter ex college player?

Your perspective is so annoying when it comes to player evaluation. No one is good enough for you except LeBron

All of this is true and Maybe he can be what Robin Lopez was last season

But he could also be Aaron Gray

He is a tough big body and that'll keep him around the league for a while

He's a poster on a forum like all of us, if he's annoying you then block him and you don't have to read his opinions.

I actually think Sacre can have a good career as a backup 5.i don't think he'll ever be skilled enough to start but he can give a team 20-25 minutes of solid defence and set strong screens. Kind of like Perkins except infinitely more likeable.

Anyone got a box score for that game?
Not easy to find

But sacre led the game in rebounds and was 2nd on his team in points

Scare didn't play 2nd game vs Croatia. And cannada got blown out

Scare appears to have only played in that one game...
Strange.

Celtics Kelly olykick took his spot

I wonder what happen?
Injury? Was he smack talking on Nash?
Nash protecting his teammate?
