Why? BK RT @lakersnation: You need to play Chris Kaman and Jordan Hill, Mike. Not Robert Sacre.

@KamBrothers @LakersNation Kaman and Hill much more polished offensively and just as good defensively or bad.

@HLOLaguneros @LakersNation Except neither has a future with the team. At this point, it makes far more sense to play guys who might. BK

@KamBrothers Exactly! There's a reason both were being shopped extensively before the trade deadline. @HLOLaguneros @LakersNation

@KamBrothers because Jordan Hill can.guard Anthony Davis better. That's why. They need at least one person to play defense.

@nckllchicago I don't think JH would be that much more effective but again the goal now is to be forward looking. He's not part of that. BK

Pretty obvious to anyone that they "might not be apart of the future"

^ Well Chris Kaman I'd say no doubt, but Jordan Hill however, I definitely know of plenty of folks who think & hope he'll be a part of this team going forward.

Depends on if Gasol is here or not as far as Hill goes.

Yea to say he "might not be" isn't that big of a stretch. It's pretty obvious that he might not be apart of the Lakers future.

^ I just realized I'm the one who messed up. Kam bros didn't even say might not be or may not be. They said it as fact. As if they're that confident or even know for sure, so I just adjusted the thread title as need be.

Of course kaman is gone

But hill hopefully will come back
Hill as a small ball center and the 3rd big is great

He give energy, toughness, and doesn't need the ball to be effective
Offensive rebounding monster, one if the best in the nba... Averaging 8/7 in 19 mins a game ...

Criminal he isn't playing more

He doesn't play that well as a starter though... Best served coming off the bench

Back-to-back DNPs. We've seen bad signs all season and even now. I doubt it.

This season sucks so goddam much it's not even funny. The fact that we didn't trade these guys at the deadline, when they apparantly isn't part of the future is pathetic. Dont tell me they tried to trade them, because if they really did, they wouldn't be here.

If dantonie is gone
And the lakers Lose gasol
I believe hill is the backup plan

Kaman should have been moved at the deadline. He is cheap, and decent

Jordan Hill is one of the few bright spots these couple of seasons. It will be a damn shame if they let him go ..

Why would either one stay?  Even assuming MDA is gone?  Kaman has already hinted around that he thinks he was lied to by someone in the FO about his role, and will have plenty to say when the season is over.  Hill is only 26 and a is quality backup but injury prome.  He will likely sign somewhere with a coach that knows how to use him ... Spurs?

Only a coach like MDA would continue to alienate a hardworking guy who does that stuff not on the stat sheet.  I have to believe that Kaman is light years better than Sacre and still MDA won't play him.  The lack of playing these two guys could mean that it is proof of MDA's being stubborn, or he could be evaluating "talent" for next year for when he is back to coach in 2014/15.

Unfortunately for Hill he isn't as good as someone like Ibaka or he would get a nice contract from us

Couldn't be any clearer that MDA will be brought back.
