^ Not necessarily cause he's brought us 5 [expletive]in' championships. He's a motha'[expletive]in' NBA and Laker legend. Arguably the greatest Laker of all-time. He's put people in the seats year after year, brought in revenue like crazy for the franchise in so many aspects. It's all warranted in that regard. So no, I see what you're doing, but Kobe is a special situation you can't even compare to somewhat like [expletive]in' Pau Gasol. How dare you?

 

Now granted, I will say, all that being said, I personally, like most, still am not all that thrilled with the amount Kobe got, but is he deserving? Certainly you can make the case based on some of the things I mentioned and more.
