I guess what putting Wes at the stretch 4 does is it allows us to play bigger with our bench but it also frees up Pau in the post more where he can't be double teamed and pulls Aldridge away from the basket taking away his rebounds.   While it's hard for Wes to defend him it's even harder for Aldridge to keep up with Wes down the court and bigs don't like to go where the air is thin. Wes being out there removing Aldridge opens up the inside for cuts as well as freeing up space for Pau.
