Sources say Cavs are expected to package their three non-guaranteed deals (Erik Murphy, John Lucas and Malcolm Thomas) in trade for Keith Bogans.

Free agent Jason Kapono has agreed to a training camp deal with the Golden State Warriors, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

Golden State continuing not to address their biggest problem.  Then again they don't have much choice either as Ed Davis and Jordan Hill were the two best centers on the market in 2014 and the Lakers got them so, the Warriors don't have much of a choice.

Bosh?

That were attainable.  The Warriors couldn't afford Bosh or his max contract needs, and whom also was also only talking to Miami and Houston.

Bosh probably would've gone to Houston, if he can be the second opinion, which i dont see that happening, so he took top dollars and might even be the first option.

Cavs to trade Keith Bogans to Sixers. Bogans acquired Thursday from Celtics. Will create room for trade exception, ESPN reports.

The Sixers are like a used car commercial. Have a contract you want to move? Willing to give up a draft pick? Give us call! We're open 24/7.

Freaking Philly. lol that shade though.

The Sixers, I'm told, have today waived last season's @nbadleague sensation Pierre Jackson

As @MarkDeeksNBA notes, Pierre Jackson DOES get a guaranteed $400,000 from Sixers for this season while he rehabs from summer Achilles tear

Blowing all your space on long term deals?  Who should they be saving it for?  The team won 48 games by mistake while Bledsoe missed nearly 40 games.  They were also 28-15 with him in the lineup and 20-19 with him out.  Needless to say barring health issues they were a playoff team last year.  The Morris twins were a great tandem off the bench as well and are improving so not really seeing how they blew the cap on extending them and resigning Bledsoe.

Before they resign Dragic next season they only have about 45M in guaranteed money AFTER signings.  Dragic has a cap hold of like 11M so they go into the offseason next year with plenty of cap space.  They also have OUR pick which will probably be a lotto pick, Minny's 2015 pick and their own. I'd say they are in a much better space than most mid market teams in the NBA.  Maybe you research before making ill informed post, but that would require you to actually not be biased and use your brain.

If you think the long term deals Phoenix should be aiming for have anything to do with the Morris twins then we have completely different ideas on what you should blow 52 million in long term deals on.

They have now committed long term deals to

Bledsoe, Isaiah Thomas, Both Morris twins, and they are going to try to also give a long term deal to Dragic this off-season.

Is a long term contract core of Thomas, Dragic,  the Morris twins and Bledsoe going to win anything in the West?   No

Are they gonna have any space to sign someone that COULD turn it into a winning situation?  No.

So what they did was they locked up all their cap space for the next few years on a team they aren't even sure is going to make the playoffs yet.  Brilliant strategy.

Who cares.  They can still put a really competitive product on the floor and they have assets to make trades.  Not every franchise is in position to wait for a star to save them like Cleveland or Shaq for LA in 96.  What in 2015 would they need to save for?  You think LMA is leaving the Blazers to go to PHX?  Love leaving Cleveland?  Marc Gasol might leave MEM but money talks and are there is thing called continuity.  No point in Marc leaving the Grizz for less money when MEM has been a force in the West for some time.

You just want to dump on PHX to make yourself feel better but they are in a much better position than we are by a long shot.  Unless KD magically signs in LA in 2016 or Randle actually becomes an elite player within 2 years we will be looking at them higher in the standings.

So they paid a 25 YO PF who is 6'10", has some skills, is getting better every year, who plays every game and who averages 14 and 6, $8 million/ year.  If Channing Frye can command $8m/ year, this guy was worth equal.

We just paid an injury prone 27YO undersized center $9m/ year.  Granted only one year is guaranteed.

We also just paid a 36 YO SG coming off TWO major injuries 24m/ year, without a whiff of the POs in two years.

We are paying our 40 YO PG $9m/ year.

Want to throw any more stones, Maj?
