Brooklyn really screwed themselves by not giving up something for Jordan Hill after getting rid of Reggie Evans.

Reasonable opportunity for playing time, good competitive playoff team, familiarity with his former coach Doc Rivers, and beautiful L.A. Makes sense.

As @BA_Turner noted yesterday, Clippers did a two-year deal with Glen Davis.

Last night, Doc Rivers had security escort Glen Davis to locker room because Big Baby was having a temper tantrum:

During the second quarter of last night's game between the L.A. Clippers and Houston Rockets, Doc Rivers and Glen Davis exchanged words. The two men had a confrontation, with Rivers barking "sit your a** down" at Davis.

When Davis' temper tantrum continued, Rivers had team security escort Davis to the Clippers locker room, where he remained for the duration of the game.

"I thought Baby was just too emotional, and for me, if you're too emotional I always send you back to the locker room and keep you back there until the next game," Rivers said after the game, according to ESPN LA. "I love Baby. I just didn't think emotionally he was ready to play tonight, so we told him to go to the locker room."

When asked if there would be further disciplinary action, Rivers said no.

"No, we're not going to get into the whole Baby thing; this has not been building," Rivers said. "He was emotional tonight, and we told him to go sit down. I just thought he was a distraction, and when guys are a distraction, I don't think they should be on the bench. If you're a distraction for anybody on the bench that should be paying attention to the game, then go sit in the back so our guys can watch the game."

^ I was watching the game yesterday when that happened & heard more about it after as well. Can't say I'm totally surprised. After seeing that TMZ video of his a week or so back when he was surrounded by a gang of groupies, I could see that maybe his mind just isn't totally into & focused on basketball as it should be right now. He just comes off as kinda clownish & immature sometimes (kinda like myself some here might say heh).

^ I was watching the game from the Clippers' perspective/channel and they didn't seem to catch or show anything unfortunately. Maybe on Houston's? Not sure...

So he was their backup plan if Ed Davis said no?

Most likely lol.

If my math is right, Clippers can now only sign ONE more player. Just $1.15 million below tax apron of $80.8M with 12 players under contract
