I have never read any comic books...
I think my parents bought me a X men comic book when I was like 5 and I thought it was stupid

Never been a comic fan
And I hate that basicly half the movies out now are comic movies.

I mean. Sin city was alright. But that's about it.

Ah, well Guardians of the Galaxy is meant to be over the top and they're meant to be D's =P   So you get scenes like this

Most powerful people in the galaxy acting like this =P it's the point lol

Just bought my tickets. Pretty excited for this.

Had never heard of the comic before but find myself reading into a lot of the characters now.

More comedy than action. post credit was meh. It was a fun clip but the movie was already so quirky, it would have been nice to end with a more grounded scene

I'd say tied with cap 2 as the best marvel film with avengers coming in 3rd.

Funniest comic book movie ever made. Chris Pratt is a superstar, bare witness to the birth of hollywoods new leading man. He's handsome, rugged, and hilarious

He's the new Harrison ford

guardians of the galaxy easter eggs

**spoilers inside**

http://screenrant.co...er-eggs-trivia/

The quirky superhero tentpole easily rockets to the top August debut of all time in North America, as well as scoring the third-best launch of the year so far; overseas, it earns $66.4 million for a global opening of $160.4 million. (94 million U.S.)

"the top August debut of all time "

Guardians secured the best showing of the year so far for an original property, as well as coming in ahead of high-profile summer franchise installments Godzilla ($93.2 million), The Amazing Spider-Man 2 ($91.6 million) and X-Men: Days of Future Past ($90.8 million). And it's the third best debut of the year so far after Age of Extinction ($100 million) and fellow Marvel movieCaptain America: The Winter Soldier ($95 million).

Hype around Guardians has been so high that Marvel and Disney have already announced plans for a July 28, 2017 sequel, with Gunn returning to direct.

Saw it Saturday night...and it's a really damn good movie.  I was shocked, won't lie.  I truly thought Batista would ruin it, but he was surprisingly good.

Groot is amazing, by the way.
