The last 3 times the East won the All-Star game, Kobe wasn't a big part of the game. He didn't play this game and in 2010. He only played 3 minutes in 2008.

Bingo - More to do with the strong Point guards (who were all healthy) - CP3, Westbrook, D-Will, Parker. Setting the table for everyone, and not jacking up shots.

I was just making an observation. Geez.

 

Even if Kobe ends up being a lesser version of who he has been the last few years after he recovers, that's still good for this game though. His defensive deficiencies won't matter in a game where they don't play defense.
