Sucks for TLN. Our LN doesn't seem to have those issues from what I gather.

Go to the blog and see if you're having trouble loading articles, so we can get a feel of any differences between the blog and the forums.

If you experience the problems again, try a power cycle:

1) Unplug router

2) Unplug modem

3) Wait 60 seconds

4) Plug in modem

5) Wait 60 seconds

6) Plug in router

7) Wait 60 seconds

8) Try to refresh the page

Minimizing and maximizing your web browser shouldn't have any effect on the actual loading experience, it is mere coincidence that it works when you do that. It should also be noted that LN sometimes goes down during "off-hours"--that is, about 1AM PST. Other than that, you can use this tool anytime to see if the site is having a problem or if it is something on your end:

http://isup.me

Type in: lakernation.com

And if it says "it's not just you," that means there is a problem with LakerNation.

If it says "it's just you, LakerNation looks up from here," that means the problem is client side (that is, on your end).

I'm sorry that this made me laugh to anyone, no offense intended, but really, I hope you read the latest post regarding comments toward the site. No more bashing nor constructive criticism. It's a very thin line so you're better off not even risking it. If you really can't contain such comments, then at least save them for PMs to whom need be, but not openly.

Well, there is a difference between bashing and constructive criticism. Bashing will absolutely not be tolerated because it is the equivalent of flaming. Constructive criticism, on the other hand, is welcome. The staff just asks for patience when it comes to responding to any criticism or suggestion.

So while we may not get to something simple such as editing a thread title quickly, we know that it needs to happen and we do get around to it. So please, be patient with stuff like that.

Unfortunately members have recently crossed the line of being disrespectful to our forum staff and our blog staff. As of this announcement, the disrespectful bashing of Laker Nation is over. We have no problem with criticism

As stated, there is a difference between bashing and criticism. Members are encouraged to talk about the site and any problems they may be experiencing. Addressing any staff member specifically regarding any of these issues is far different than making a post about it in the respective forum and letting the team work on it. There is always more than one side to a story.

Hopefully this misunderstanding has been cleared up, and if you have questions, don't hesitate to PM me or post in the respective forum. Thanks!

I am closing this thread as the issue is resolved.
