quote from here about how Nash feels about it

A shame such hard work is glossed over.  For an organization whose fans bashed Bynum at every turn for being 'lazy' and we bash Gasol for sitting out with a cold, yet they turn their nose up at Nash whom is the definition of hard work when the cold hard truth is he doesn't have to do [expletive]. He could sit out the year and wait for the Lakers to stretch him.  But he's not. And he gets no credit.

Has he done any hard work on the basketball court during an actual game for a majority of the games? He can't. That is what we pay him for. Since Nash has come, the Lakers have accomplished nothing to be proud of.

No offense. This is a business too, morals aside. Business is business period.

This is the saddest attempt of pitty I have ever seen. So what does he want us to do, feel sorry for Nash? Its reality. Thats the life of a professional athlete. They get paid millions of dollars. Able to buy mansions and set their kids for life and now you bring up this crap so people can feel sorry for them? I know I am a very sinical guy but even a person who is not synical will see this as a slap in the face. A slap in the face to all the people who doesn't have the talent like professional atheletes have to be able to play professional sports getting lottery type payments. Who will feel sorry for a guy who work his ass off and getting paid 50 times less than a Steve Nash but never complains until one day he is not physically capable of doing it anymore. Do he have millions of dollars in the bank like a Steve Nash? So what is the purpose for this film and article? So fans can lay off Steve for sucking the franchise cold with the 10 day game crap? Look, I dont hate the guy. I respect him a lot. He is a hall of famer no doubt. Respect how he plays the game. The most nicest guy in the nba ever. But please enough already with this crap.  I know this will offend a lot of people but that is how i feel about this.

MDA is an offensive genius. I hope he sticks to his guns and keeps doing what he does best: Run and Gun. That's the only way to coach.

Episode Deuce: Part Deux

it's beautiful to watch this from his eyes.

Maybe people will stop being so freaking disrespectful towards him.  But there will always be one I'm pretty sure that wants to make a 'statement' and tries to say he's just looking for pity.

Anyway, much respect to this guy putting himself through this.

Worst trade in Lakers history, and he is also the reason MDA is here.

Wow. Can't believe Steve Nash is all about the money

It's just a reality. I'm not going to retire because, well, I want the money.

Keep him next year and end it all. Lakers got plenty of dough. Just don't do a trade like this ever again (Mitch or whoever). Set an age limit lol. No one over 30 plays for LA from here on out (Kobe exception).

Steve Nash: The Finish Line Episode Tres: Part Deux

Will rep you later.  Nash makes some very good points.  Him and Kobe are from the same cloths of defiance.    The last segment of the video where he's talking about Philly and Minnesota really are sounding like he's leaning towards retirement.

Well at least he's honest. If he is essentially not waived and insists on being on the roster that's 10 mil in dead money. Which preempts getting anyone next year aside from paus expiring deal. Don't think 20 something million will make the roster much better next year.

Waive/stretch him and with the difference of salary next year pursue Lowry. We aren't gonna scratch his back and pursue title. This is it.
