It was completely rushed.  All this time setting a mood and a slow, yet eventful crawl to the bad guy.  It was way too easyto tell who the big baddie was as well - way too easy.

Then in the end, it was a mess, pushing itself far too fast.  One of them, if not both, should've died.  It's a cop out to have them both live and become (supposed) best friends.  They were literally laughing with this long slow pan up to the stars - very, very weak.  For what the show was lining up, it was way too "happily ever after".

A real letdown from how the rest of the show was.

Ok. I buy that. I still loved it. To me it was like an 8 hour movie.

Sources say at least two major talents in the adult film industry, Amia Miley and Peta Jensen, both 24, were hired for a deliriously vast, Eyes Wide Shut-caliber orgy sequence involving dozens of naked bodies. According to participants in the scene, the sequence was shot over the past few days in a Pasadena mansion. Season two stars Colin Farrell and Rachel McAdams were also present for filming.

Funny twist: The adult actresses apparently are among the few people who actually don't get totally naked.

HBO declined to comment on the hires, and all participants have signed nondisclosure agreements that prevent them from discussing their work on the secretive series created by Nic Pizzolatto, but a source says the production didn't hire Miley and Jensen for their porn experience.

Miley, who was recently named the 44th "hottest" porn star by Complex, also appeared in the gritty Power Rangers remake that surfaced on the Internet in February. It's unclear whether additional adult film actors — male or female — were involved in the orgy shoot.

Anyone following the 2nd season? I dont think it is anywhere near as good as the first one, where the dynamic between Rust (McConnaughey) and Hart (Woody) was fantastic. Also the first season was a lot more creepy. It may improve though, as we're only 4 episodes in.

Sure. I am. The ending to this last episode has me slightly optimistic. Think we all knew it couldn't be as good as the 1st.

Overall, it has proved to be a yawner. Vince Vaughn is still..... Vince Vaughn.

Farrell is about the only saving grace.

Yeah, it's a bit boring, unfortunately. Hopefully it'll improve from here on out. I dont think Vince Vaughn is that bad, but he sure isn't as good as Rust or Hart.

Season 2 has been a huge disappointment for me. Even that shootout wasn't as intense as the season 1 shootout. Whole season has been meh. I loved how season 1 was directed and the back forth going on between the present and past. The car dialogue scene for season 2 was really weak compared to season 1. Thinking about dropping this
