He'll have to create a trophy room in his house for all this hardware.  His Emmy for True Detective will follow this soon enough...

Pretty much. How can they follow this for season 2? What do you thinks going to happen? You think Marty's involved? I think Rust will get killed. I could see Rust confronting Marty and the detectives blasting him.

I don't know how it's going to end - there's a ton of theories that I've read online that are all plausible but I don't really think about them too much.  This is the kind of show that I will just relax and watch and wait until its over to analyze what I just saw.  This season could end any number of ways and none of them would surprise me...

The last two episodes have definitely been more formulaic, but it's still engrossing television - I hope there is a major twist approaching us, as right now it's looking to be a tad straight forward. I could definitely see Marty spilling the beans to Rust and it all coming apart leading in deaths.

You guys think the yellow king will remain a secret for season two or we'll get closure with these characters?

I think season 2 will be a different story, location and cast. Don't think anyone knows if the seasons intersect.

I can't imagine what's about to happen. I don't expect everything answered. These types never answer everything, that's fine with me. I've enjoyed the ride.

he should've. I thought they both died. Imagine if rust survived and Marty died. That was a maze from hell.

Dug the series - final 3 episodes were so straightforward though - you just knew what was going to happen in this episode...can't help but feel kind of let down a tad.

Lot of people wanted a twist but like you said it was straight forward. It would've been nice to see a little more of Errol and what made him tick. Rust and Marty were the main attraction. The transformation of those characters. I loved it.

Yeah it's definitely the journey of the two character and that's why we never got too much insight into anyone else - whilst I'm happy Marty and Rust are hopeful at the end - it was all a little bit too cheerful for me

I didn't find it cheery. I felt the characters vulnerability, letting go a little. The show was heavy till the end for me.

The star of HBO's "True Detective" knows how to keep you safe... except from your own darkest impulses.

I hope we won't have to wait till 2016. HBO hasn't even green lit season 2. WTF?

^ It's probably a tad more complicated than you think considering they're highly popular and overall busy actors, especially MM. Have to get the agreement/s right with scheduling, money, & what not.

True Detective is a one and done series similar to American Horror Story. Woody and Matt won't be back. Why haven't you watched Cano?

Laziness/lagging. I have several shows as well as movies that I need to get to, but I always find a way to occupy my time with something else. There's just so much to consume it's hard man, lol.

That's why I always say I find it hard to believe anyone can almost ever say they're bored in the world we live in today. There is just so much of everything everywhere.
