NFL.com's Adam Schefter reports that the Raiders fully anticipate slapping the franchise tag on CB Nnamdi Asomugha again this offseason.

Those selfish Raiders. Asomugha, who's been targeted by offenses on only about 10 plays this year, will make roughly $11.7 million in 2009 if he's franchised again. The Raiders ought to shop him. Asomugha turns 28 before next season and Oakland needs all the draft slots it can get. They are down second-, third-, and fifth-round draft picks due to awful previous trades.

Our best player and the CB in the NFL is probably leaving the team after next season.

Woodson Part 2. :D

I'm afraid the Raiders will be in the top 3 worse teams for the next 5+ years. Our F.O. is just beyond horrible.

Man, this sucks big time! Man, it hurts to be a Raider fan but I have to stick with my team with the good times and the bad times.
