You never want to see any player get injured, but damn. We'd be grateful for injuries if we got a top 3-5 pick..

Now Pringles can have his dream lineup out there 24/7 with PG's at both guard spots all game long...

Haha

MDA: Run run run! Pass!!!! No! Get back on D. Wait! Not there. Over there! Run Run Run!! Timeout Timeout.

Praying for 1. Kobe's Health (a special 20th season, like he deserves), 2. Draft Picks Ballin (they better. Seems half the team hasnt played in league) 3. Miracle Move (We still need 2 more impact guys, but Bass and Lou are solid moves), 4. Hibbert (trimming down, change of scenery and attitude sorely needed) 5. Upshaw (If he works out, mitch and jim and ryan deserve major kudos as the risk is minimal). Staples (some renewed energy in that building, been a total morgue last couple years)

READY FOR SEASON!

Now no one can make me believe this 7 seconds or less offense isn't causing the injuries.

.@Jmeeks20 is a go for tomorrow's game against HOU. Jordan Farmar & Pau Gasol are being listed as doubtful. pic.twitter.com/pkFSwLrjgV

Looks like @Jmeeks20 is the only player LAL definitely get back tomorrow vs. Houston. We'll get more on Young after practice.

Good to hear :)

"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."

He's a shooter. He's gonna play like garbage his first few games back.

I'm surprised there isn't more trade chatter around Meeks. Shooting is among the easiest things to plug into a lineup. BK

Yet another guy playing through injury apparently risking his future just for a contract.

Meeks and Young are gonna be feeling threatened by Bazemore and Brooks

Maybe because Bazemore is a better defender and slasher than Meeks and just needs to work on his jump shot, but can actually shoot off the dribble, and Brooks is a guy that can score but is young with a 7'1 wing span which makes him a valuable defender.

The thing is these guys are really playing like they WANT to be Lakers.

Of course the fact the lakers have enough money for max deals doesn't hurt either :P  They probably feel like their biggest paycheck they could get is with the Lakers.  But Mitch sent a different message at the deadline so it's scramble mode now.

Jodie should rest, Young should rest, let Bazemore and Brooks play.  They honestly have less time than BOTH of them to prove they need to stay.

Why would the guys who been putting in the hard work sit?

That's not realistic , just like whenever you see a new guy play well most of it is adrenaline. Again, this isn't NBA 2k. The players in the locker rooms aren't going to cede to newcomers in the same boat as they are in, and you have to PROVE something to your coaching STAFF.
