I don't mind remakes too much as long as they're good.

The trailer just sucks.

Michael Bay should stay away from making films.

The studio got fooled into thinking Bay is the one that made "Transformers" the money it made.  When in actuality the property itself makes money, regardless of who directed it.  Bay sold them a bill of goods on his terrible lack of skill as a director and now he got a hold of this too.  Not surprised that this looks like a steaming turd as well.

Studios are (mostly) dumb and Bay is a blight on American film.

Funny thing is Bay isn't even directing this.   that is a good thing.

I know people will assume that because he's "Producer" that it's as bad as being director.

Pretty much how everyone was assuming Man Of Steel would be masterful because Nolan was Producing it.

Then afterwards they realized Snyder being the director outweighed Nolan as the producer.

Bay is the producer here not the Director luckily.

The producer is the person putting the production together (budget, cast, locations, the general manager essentially).  The director is the person putting the production into action.  More specifically, the look, feel, sound, etc. of the movie all come from the director's vision...

It's Jonathan Liebesman's movie not Michael Bay's.

The writer writes the script, oftentimes the writer is the same person as the director, but not necessarily...

Michael Bay (as a producer) is incapable of not hovering over a director's shoulder.  Very well known.  If Bay is attached it will be a pile of crap.

Scripts can be written by a wide variety of people.  Often the person that gets credit for the script is the lead of many writers or people that have had input on it.  Directors call the shots on set (unless producers can't keep away) and producers call the shots off set (unless the studio can't keep their nose out of it).

It's settled then. This will suck.

NEW TRAILER SHOWS THE TURTLES LOOK AND VOICES

Like I said before, underrated aspect but their weapons, attire, etc looks like it was all manufactured in a sewer.  Which makes perfect sense. Donnie especially as he's the tech and smart one.  He can't exactly walk into Lenscrafters and get a fit unfortunately.  Underrated aspect but makes sense.  Leonardo once again looks awesome in his self made in the sewer samurai attire.    A smidgen more Shredder and Splinter as well.
