Highly touted Florida Gators freshman Chris Walker has been cleared to play by the NCAA and will be eligible to make his college debut Tuesday at home against Missouri.

The 6-foot-11 Walker, who was ranked 12th in the Class of 2013 by ESPN.com, has been in limbo since being admitted to Florida in December.

Walker sat out while the NCAA investigated his amateur status.

The NCAA said in a statement that Walker received preferential treatment from five people -- including two agents. Walker will be required to donate the $270 he received from the agents to a charity and serve 80 hours of community service for the remaining benefits received.

We just got a whole lot better! Glad to see him cleared and can't wait to watch him live.

I remember reading he was supposed to be top 10 before the sanctions. All the more reason to grab more picks this draft. :)

Yeah I heard some where near 10-15. Hope he stays tho and I think he needs too because how long he been out gonna take time for him to get adjusted to the college level.

He's a freak, could be a future lottery pick. Excited to see him play. A guy at that size who can handle the ball...don't know how consist be his jumper is but he reminds me of KD only with a stronger build. Not saying he'll be that good, just the style he reminds me of.

I still believe UCLA has the more talented team overall, but you guys have the better coach. That was the difference.

^ Right, because of the coach. He makes that happen cause he's better at it, but UCLA has more talented players overall.
