A little off topic, but the way Durant has been playing has been making the thunder team look deadly. He isn't 06 Kobe but he is playing at a crazy high level right now. They went in MIA and just beat up the heat. And Durant made Lebron seem like a smart man, no one can guard him one on one. Or at least Lebron couldnt, Durant had him on skates all game.

Durant is not the first player that can't be defended one-on-one. I scratch my head when media announce it as if it's an impressive thing.

You throw double, triple teams at him. But teams are just stupid. So no wonder... But the Thunder team helps his case since there are a lot of players that can punish those things.

Well if you listened to the media they would have you believing a player was the second coming of Christ after one good game. Their paid to make stories that is what they do.

I'm gonna drop the last bomb.

There were only 3 players who averaged 40+ ppg a month in NBA history. And along with Wilt, who did it 11 times, Kobe is the only other who did it multiple times (4). Jordan has none.

2003 January: 40.6 ppg

2006 January: 43.4 ppg

2006 April:      41.6 ppg

2007 March:   40.4 ppg

MJ didn't need to.  He still avg more on a consistent basis for the majority of his career.  That's not really a bomb.

Not taking away from Durant....hes balling. But I've always thought LeBron's man to man defense was overrated.

That's because it is.  LeBron is a bad iso defender.  He's a great help side defender.  Not that good of an isolation one, people beat him on the first step pretty consistently.

Knicks have already beaten the Heat 2 in a row. You're bound to slip up one of these game.

Wow, everyone picked the Heat to win that series anyways. 2 Superstars and 1 All-Star Vs Melo & a deranged Amar'e. Jeremy Lin quit during that playoffs, and didn't even play. Amar’e also decided to take out his anger on a fire extinguisher during that series. That all adds up to a team that was going to lose to the future champions.
