I don't think they were under the radar. They're well coached but boring. They have a habit of choking too

Much more so than teams like the Lakers and Heat who everyone was/is always gunning for. They're definitely well coached no question about it and I think the reason they choke a lot is because a system and its coach demanding perfection of it from his players will only get you so far. Think about it, the Spurs haven't even made it to back to back finals let alone repeat as champs. That's because once they are the champs everyone is aware of them and tries to unseat them.

Maybe not letting him go but stop prioritizing him on your bench and try and look for something else. Still not too surprising knowing Pop's demeanor regarding his loyalty.
