Well Miami is gonna blow out the Celtics today so they'll be well rested for us.

After getting beat by Atlanta I think they'll do that "prove we're focused for a few games" thing before losing and having everyone question it.

They remind me a lot of the Lakers in Phil's final year.   Indiana could be the "Mavericks".

We have been playing well (by our standards) of late.

And Miami is not playing well at all.

That being said, it should be an easy loss for us.

The Heat barely beat the Celtics where Rondo was 0-8 from the field and 1-4 from FT. Had he hit the two free throws late in the 4th, it would have been a 2 point deficit for the Celtics as opposed to the 4 and eventually 7 after fouling.

We got this, the Heat are playing terrible basketball as of late. I expect another shooting competition between Young and King James, it should be fun.

Arguably the greatest franchise ever

^ Aren't you the creator of what was then called the "Tank For Wiggins" thread? Have you completely changed your stance on that all of a sudden now cause this post of yours right here couldn't contradict that anymore.

Lakers can barely beat the Heat let alone on the road. It'd be a nice win if they could pull it off. Better than beating a low-tier/tanking team.

^ The only one on the court on this team right now that would want it BADLY would be Nick Young. Only for him, would I feel a little bad about losing. Everyone else currently playing, you can't tell me they care even close to as much. Doesn't mean they don't play hard, but it's obvious no one else has the level of passion Nick has (currently playing).

Ryan Kelly has been tearing it up. I think he wants to win badly as well. Jodie too. Not as much as Nick though...

Hopefully we can keep this close and surprise them in the end. A win in Miami would be so sweet. I'm pretty sure we haven't won there in 6 seasons. At least we're catching them when they seem vulnerable.

Nick still has something to play for - a shot at the 6th man award. Rest of team - not so much.

Kelly / Marshall / Harris  et al have done well ..

But winning against an elite team is a different matter altogether.

If the score is close till say the halftime, it is because the Heat is not interested in blowing us out.

Answer me this honestly though. Does a win do us more good or bad?

I'm just going to watch the games. If we win, great. We won with a depleted roster. If we lose, great. One step closer to a higher draft pick.

No need to dwell upon it any further.
