Bulls Release Andrew Bynum, Clippers Leaning Toward Not Pursuing

The Chicago Bulls have waived Andrew Bynum, according to CBS Sports' Ken Berger.

Bynum was acquired in a trade from the Cleveland Cavaliers in a deal involving Luol Deng.

Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times reports that the Los Angeles Clippers are not expected to pursue Bynum due to the issues arising from his time with the Cavaliers.

The Miami Heat will reportedly express interest in Bynum.

Andrew Bynum Receives Interest From At Least 8 Teams

I'm told 8 teams are interested in signing A Bynum, most notably Heat & Clips. Playing time, contender status & $ all factors in decision.

Heat will get him.   He'll be able to match up with Hibbert at least body wise, and the Heat will three-pest this year.

Look at what they have.

Michael Beasley playing well now and coming off the bench.  Andrew Bynum as starting center that can produce and moves Bosh indefinitely to the 4 spot where he's most comfortable with LeBron making life easier for him like Kobe did.

Yeah if the Heat get Bynum and he continues to progress into the off-season they will beat every team in the East in 6 games or less.

I'll cry myself to sleep every night this summer. Possibly terminate my cable services for the summer to avoid watching ESPN.

Heat have a full 15 man roster. Unless they trade somebody. But doesn't look like they'll do that.

Clippers would have to waive a player before they can sign Bynum. Bynum cleared waivers after he was released by Chicago.

He's a former Laker, of course they want him.

My god Clippers, find your own identity and quit getting caught up in names everywhere.  They've put together such a ragtag group of NBA oddballs - all redundant and very few effective.

Donald Sterling is the Al Davis of the NBA.
