Teenagers like listening to him and I totally get it. Don't think he should be as big as he should be, but it's fine.

OK great. Time to make a new thread for each rapper who is trash.

Quite the list that would be. To be fair talking it over with a female friend, I jokingly said the pop artists in the 90's were more talented than today's "artists" even though I would bash them all when I was younger. Thing is everything is perception, whoever is born in the 20's and 30's will complain and so on, timing is everything. I listen to rock, and trust me, that genre is also going through such a 'fake' indie movement that makes most commercialized rappers look legit.

Well he has many fans who disagree.
And he has financially capitalized on that.

He really isn't trash. He has his commercial hits like any rapper, but if you listen to his album he actually has more content than most. Could actually name a few songs on his cd that have some deeper meanings of the last two years in rap.

Just one of the few songs that have a deep message to it. Most didn't listen to his whole album and think he is just another main stream rapper because of his commercial hits. Don't wanna jump to conclusions, but I am guessing that is what most the people in this thread did.

Can't stand him, although like using Macklemore to troll Drake fans that say he's better that Kendrick because of album sales. Macklemore's next album is going to sell BIG.

He was in my store about a week ago. And he gets his hair cut at the salon closeby. That's about all the opinions I have on the dude. I mean, it's totally cool that he's for equality and all that. I appreciate and respect that about him and the message(s) he puts out. I just never really paid attention to much of anything he's said/sang though. I def wouldn't call him trash, that's a bit of a reach.
