That's the most insane thing Kobe has ever said

And this is a guy who thought he would come back from down 0-3 vs the mavericks

Lakers are bad. But come on!!!
USA starting to look and sound more and more like North Korea by the day

wtf?

He obviously he was being silly and wasn't going to diss the most powerful man in the world *one of*

If our best player doesn't think we could come back from 0-3 then he shouldn't be employed by that organization. The lakers could have easily come back if they didn't half ass that series and actually try.. not to mention pau gasol soft ass.

Come on Kobe can believe we could have come back but you saying we could have easily come back if we didn't half ass is ridiculous. It is Impossible to come back down 0 and 3 in a series

Kobe also is sure we will get revenge next year.  I am sure we will be better (being worse will be hard) and by revenge if he means losing to the clippers by less than 20 - it is certainly possible

I was rewatching the Lakers @ Grizz highlights earlier, where Kobe scored 21 points.

That looked like the Kobe from last year with the exception of dunking and major elevation. That's after tearing his Achilles and returning during the next season. He played a very small sample size up to that game.

I don't doubt Kobe being able to return to form. 25/5/5 is not impossible at all for him. The only question is can he stay healthy?

The Bobcats and Grizzlies games, I believe he did very well. The only caveat was that he was very reliant on his fade-away jumper.

He needs to seriously get skinnier if he wants to be that damaging offensive he always was. I think he should talk to MWP about that diet he went on that cut him so much weight.

I think that's most important.  If Kobe gets back down to the low 200s I think he'll be fine.

He'll probably go down to his usual 205.

25 seems like a stretch especially if they curtail his minutes for all the obvious reasons.

20/7/7 and remaining healthy and i would rejoice!

Praying for 1. Kobe's Health, 2. High Draft Pick (Randle!) 3. Miracle Trade (Not yet), 4. Quality Free Agent (Boozer, kind of), 5. Brilliant Coaching Hire (Byron!...but the jury is out)

Depends, I think his assists could go down, depending on how often he's off ball, could go down to 4.5 or such. I think that's a fine bet.

I'd honestly be fine with 25/5/5 in all honesty.

We need to get someone that's gonna ensure that Kobe can play off ball and from the block and mid while they can set up the offense and score.

Hence forth why a lot of people want Exum if the Lakers can't draft Wiggins.  Marshall is a lock for next year for the most part and can run the bench unit to perfection, but we need a point that's capable of scoring.

I think that the Lakers if they lose out on Wiggins will go after Exum, if they draft Wiggins however they will likely get Lowry, or they could buy a second draft pick and draft Payton with Wiggins and look to bring in another big.   But as WCS is injured at the moment and it being an achillies sprain they may be skeptical. So who knows.

What I do know is that if we truly want to extend Kobe's career, an upgrade at the point guard is a must, let Farmar go, move Marshall to the bench, get somebody that can score and pass for that starting unit and you're fine on THAT front.  Then all we need to do is address the interior defensive one.

Animals can definitely sense fear and the last thing you want to do is hang out with a 600 lb. bear and be a total chicken. Sitting next to this bear surprisingly wasn't as scary as the time my husband and I dared each other to jump off of a boat in Bora-Bora to free dive with what seemed like,"just 2 black tip sharks in the distance" many years ago. Let's just say we found more sharks swimming around us than expected beneath the water's surface. Don't worry- the shark diving story that made headlines last year was just a picture of Kobe jumping off of a boat that someone turned into, "A leap into shark infested waters." Dun, dun, duuuun!!! LOL!#LiveandLearn #GreatPics#FunMemories #IJumpYouJump #BFF❤
