It could potentially get ugly. That'll depend on Dallas more than us.

Oh man... I'm only here for Kendall Marshall. This team is very hard to watch right now... health risk.

We got this. Dallas may join as well the lottery wagon before the All-Star break.

Arguably the greatest franchise ever

Gotta be something else on?

Praying for 1. Kobe's Health (a special 20th season, like he deserves), 2. Draft Picks Ballin (they better. Seems half the team hasnt played in league) 3. Miracle Move (We still need 2 more impact guys), 4. Hibbert (change of scenery and attitude sorely needed) 5. Upshaw (If he works out, mitch and jim and ryan deserve major kudos as the risk is minimal). Staples (some renewed energy in that building, been a total morgue last couple years)

READY FOR SEASON!

Doubtful.  They have a real coach who knows how to use veteran players in ways to minimize injuries.  They are no c-ship caliber team, but are still miles better than us right now, roster wise, and coach wise.

Should be a good movie on around that time.

Things I'm looking for:

1) Marshall: If he can average 8 assists tonight, that'll be great. This will be his first game on the road as a starter, so it'll be interesting to see how he performs. I hope he can develop the ability to drive it in on the right. I wouldn't shoot long 3s unless it's a battle against the shot clock. Rather, work on getting some midrange jumpers first.

2) Sacre: I didn't expect Sacre to play as well as he has. His ability to finish on the P&R has been decent. But what I'm really hoping for is him to develop as a stronger interior defender and rebounder, two of our major flaws.

3) Kelly: He needs to develop confidence and shoot open 3s, midrange jumpers, posting up, etc. The main factor I'd expect Kelly to transform into is a 3-point specialist. Similar to a Matt Bonner, sub in and shoot threes. Regarding the future, Kelly most likely would not play major minutes since he's a defensive liability. If he can consistently knock down threes, he'd be an integral part of the bench no matter what system we run.

Ive been a fan FOREVER but im thinking of watching them 1st half only until injured players return. They seem to just run out of gas or tank on purpose in 2nd halves.

It depends on what your purpose is for watching. If you're watching them to win, then it's very unlikely given the plethora of injuries and absolutely no defense (perimeter or interior) and rebounding.

Not win, but remain competitive throughout most games which ain't happening due to all the issues we cover on these boards.

But Laker games have always been my favorite thing to watch on tv over just about anything else. Only Breaking Bad, The Daily Show, Colbert Report, used to beat it out. Now i channel surf all the time during them. :byecry:

It's understandable. Especially when it seems like they played with absolutely no passion, which happened during the second half of our previous game.

I miss Breaking Bad.

Yeah, I think you either misinterpreted my post or I myself am more at fault in not being more clear with my stance. I completely agree with you and that's more of the side & stance I intended to be on with my initial post. Apologies for the confusion.
