I'll check in tomorrow evening, when I'm not stacked with work, to see if I can help with anything.

Thanks!

I think I lost connection to you. Teamviewer died, it won't let me reconnect, and it appears I have internet:

$ ping 8.8.8.8

Oh okay. I'll close Teamviewer and resend the info!

My computer had froze, that must have been the problem.

Let me know if that driver update didn't help. Time to shower

Keyboard seems to be working much better now, thanks! Hopefully it'll continue to. ^^

Any other steps need to be taken?

It's still a bit slow. Do you recommend any virus programs? (I currently have AVG 2012, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, Wise Registry Cleaner and Auslogics BoostSpeed.

Of course they will need updating though. Or should I just remove all them and install other ones?

I'm heading to bed now. Got a doctor appointment in the morning. Thanks for all the help!

Good night c:

Let's meet up tomorrow and clean up your rig a little bit. I'm pretty sure I saw some adware on there. Other than that, there aren't any further steps you need to take.

I'm glad we are getting this resolved! ;D

Before I head off to work, I just wanted to say thanks to Wade and those others who were helping out with the issues.  I used to come in here and do all of this, but finding time is so difficult these days.

To answer a question regarding what programs to run for AV/spyware/malware, personally, I have Microsoft Security Essentials in the background, and to deep scan, I use Malwarebytes.  Everything else eats up memory on slower computers (ex. programs like Norton and McAfee), and while I typically won't have that problem, many of my customers do, and they also don't want to pay for it.

Sorry was slammed over New Years. Good to see you're back up and running.

I'd agree with RD, I use Microsoft Security Essentials. It's free and is not a huge resource hog.

I was about to ask if it was free, but you helped me with that.

Thank you!

That's the best part when helping someone with computer issues.
