He should have been traded a while ago. He's an awesome player whose value have peaked and i'd love for us to keep him. But he'll be seeking a long-term deal we probably wont be able to match. Also, we have plenty of depth at the wing position when Blake and Kobe comes back.

Traded for what?

Now I understand why the Suns had the best medical staff in the league, when D'Antoni was there.  They had plenty of players to practice on.

So maybe our medical staff will benefit from this.

Traded for what?

Well, for anything really.

If we're not able to keep him, and his value is at it's peak and he wont see any significant minutes once Kobe and Blake gets back, then there's no point in keeping him around.

Henry, Blake for Imam Shumpert

Henry, Meeks for Imam Shumpert

Henry, Meeks, Blake for Lou Wiliams

Henry, Meeks, Blake for Trevor Ariza.

Pau, Henry, Meeks for Emeka Okafor, a filler and one of Phoenix's four first rounders (lottery proteced).

and so on.

If we look into this,
Without their medical staff the suns would have missed the playoffs even with prime nash

It sounds like meniscus when he said it felt 'loose'.

I'm not too knowledgable when it comes to these things. Would this be a bad thing, or is this minor?

Well it's better than tearing your ACL, but it's still bad. (see D.Rose)

MDA on Xavier: “He’s sore, but we hope it’s not bad,” D’Antoni told Dave McMenamin of ESPN Los Angeles. But, being a point guard, we don’t know. He might be out a couple years.”

It sounds like meniscus.

I hope its more on the level of Metta's than on the level of Rose's.

Yeah, obviously he's trying to joke with that dumb "he might be out a couple of years" comment, but this is no laughing matter whatsoever. He needs to be smarter than that.
