Xavier Henry has a strained right knee and will not return tonight. He'll have an MRI in the morning.

Why is it that everyone keeps getting injured under Mike D'Antoni?

Hope X recovers soon, and WHEN he returns that he can go back to being the off ball shooter and cutter that he was before.

"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."

That's not good.

At this point sadly, can't say I'm shocked. That tank appears to only be getting stronger.

^ With our medical staff, could be more. 5 weeks could just be for another evaluation.

A strain normally doesn't require an MRI.  A sprain does, but a strain is much more minor.

Could potentially be worse if he's saying it felt "loose".

Yeah the loose sounds like a miniscus thing.. Metta experienced the same kind of 'loose'ness.

Forgive me for being so cynical perhaps, but our track record with injuries in recent years doesn't exactly give me reason to believe otherwise.

Hope for the best, but expect the worst. That way, you minimize shock and or disappointment.

He should have been traded a while ago. He's an awesome player whose value have peaked and i'd love for us to keep him. But he'll be seeking a long-term deal we probably wont be able to match. Also, we have plenty of depth at the wing position when Blake and Kobe comes back.

They're no Phoenix Suns medical staff that's for damn sure.
