Have any of you seen any of the many new Beyonce videos from her new album? She's never been this raunchy nor ratchet.

Do you think it's fair to say with the Gagas, Mileys, & Rihannas, Beyonce's caved in to that shock or wow factor & has directly been influenced to up it a bit herself? I mean she's never been this consistently naughty & sexually provoking in so many videos and so many ways to this degree.

It seems like the majority (thankfully for her) like it, but of course there is a pretty big crowd that is turned off and disappointed in her.

Yeah this was just horrible man... And all her songs are about fricking sex. For a long time I respected her because she was not like Rihanna, Miley, and Lady Gaga. But eventually they all cave in.

Sellouts just so they can stay relevent.

She continues to turn her skin color whiter and whiter... I just noticed.

Been hearing nothing but good things about her and this new album since its surprise release. I don't think I've heard anyone comparing her performances in the music videos to what Miley Cyrus and others have done. I guess I'm not surprised there are people who compared her to them, but idk.. I didn't think much of it when I "watched" her album. I still wouldn't compare what she's doing in these videos to Miley, Rihanna, etc. though...but that's just me. In other words, I just simply saw Beyonce just doing her own thing really...

Beyonce is really good at giving you effects and spectacles as of late to take your mind off the lack of substance in her songs.

I don't know what's wrong with America when a grown married woman can't be sexy and them not have a problem.

Music is ever changing, but really it's ALWAYS been about a few things, love, god, sex, everyday life and storytelling.

I like how Beyonce has evolved and is comfortable in her own skin, and she didn't do the traditional HUGE promotion of an album to go PLAT. Queen Bey is a ROCK STAR on some real [expletive].

Where have you been? She's had cakes all the way back to that classic "Cater 2 U" lapdance performance at the BET awards on that lucky sob Terrence Howard:

Oh yes I do know. I simply used it as an excuse of an opportunity to post some lovely pics of one of my personal all-time favorite Beyonce events/moments.

I never really could get into Beyonce.

Maybe because all her songs were about empowering single ladies, and getting on without their guys after being hurt, and how she could do it all by herself.

And I'm sitting there hearing all this, knowing she's with Jay-Z and that without getting with him her career never would have gotten past Destiny's Child.

So all those self empowering "I can do it all by myself women power" movement songs, I have a hard time buying into knowing she is with Jay-Z the whole time.   Dunno why I just never bought into her believing any of the songs she was singing because she's pretty much the poster child for the opposite.  Despite being talented I've no doubt for the most part that if she never had gotten with Jay-Z, Destiny's Child is about as far as it would have gone, and maybe a solo album.

^ Kind of, but Jay-Z still really helped put her on the map even just with that "Crazy In Love" song & video nonetheless.

By the way, did "Bonnie & Clyde" come a little after that?

Maj

I think it's the opposite. Jay Z is pretty much the King. He could have been the most eligible bachelor in black circles.
Beyonce was forming her empire and his acumen saw that along with being the baddest overall chick out there, her status was primed to peak.
Jay Z was her destiny.

That being said, Bey is more image than substance.

lol thats bs.

She is talented and sexy as hell. Her career still would have been successful with or without Jay Z

^ I think so too, but I'm just not sure if it would've been AS successful to this magnitude without some or a lot of his help.
