For anyone who hasn't seen this movie yet, I HIGHLY recommend it. It's a definite classic. Don't be discouraged because it's a bit old, it's damn good, but a reasonably fair warning, it is probably not for the easily squeamish. Probably one of the creepiest movies you'll ever see.

 

It's also got a 91% rating on Rotten Tomatoes including an 82% audience liking:

I have a great movie in this vein.  Cronenberg acts in it, and it was written directed by Clive Barker.  Night Breed.  Awesome.  Solid like the fly.

Nightbreed trips over itself quite a bit.

 

Good premise but it turned out ridiculous and cartoony.

Yes. But it's as great as people under the stairs. Or the first leprechaun. Hokey but the idea is good.
