X has more upside, he's only 22-23.
Wes is more athletic.
They're both good Dunkers, Wes with the slight edge because he's athletically superior.

Wes. I like how X goes to the rim, but then again he's a crappy FT shooter. Puts pressure on opposing defenses though still. Overall I like Wes better, but both could be pretty good role players.

X has the upside for sure and strikes me as a guy that could be more than a role player at his potential.   Wes is a three and D guy, that is his ceiling and it's a pretty great ceiling too, but he seems like he's a glue guy at his best while
Athletically X is very athletic and strong, Wes is the better leaper, X is the more thunderous dunker.    In short, Wes goes high, X goes through.

Overall right now you go with Wes for consistency and you develop X for a breakout season which is likely the next year.

I'd like for us to keep both.  If Meeks decides to leave in the off-season then that means X will get more minutes and not to mention he IS a better defender than Meeks, so if he finds some consistency he could ultimately be a superior weapon.

The kid got 16 free throws last night in an environment when the refs were ignoring contact left and right.   He's a difference maker at his peak.   Wes will always be the perfect system player and glue guy, he sneakily under the radar got 13 points on 6-13 shooting almost 50% which is shocking considering how many threes he missed early, he found other ways as did Xavier.

I want them BOTH on this team to be honest in terms of upside and potential both of these guys have had more big games in a span of 23 games than some of our other 'prospects' ever accomplished in 2 seasons.

Johnson. He's surprised me during his time with the Lakers.

Wesley doesnt know how to drive to the basket for some reason. He is the better athlete & better defender. Xavier can get to the paint off the dribble but he doesnt know how to use body control if it cant always be euro step layup. but he is 1 of the few players that isnt afraid to put his head down & get to rack instead of always settling for long 2s & 3s. for future you keep both cuz they both serve much needed purpose

I like then both, but so far this season they're equal too me. The best word that describes what both these need to improve the most in their game's? Consistency.

Henry needs bigger hands to be a great dunker

Wesley isn't really a good dunker either
He is super lengthy and tall, and can jump high, but it doesn't translate into big time dunks

Neither are close to Shannon brown
His monster hands and insane hops, and tiny frame

Hey lakers need a pg
How about Shannon brown

He doesn't drive that much b/c he's an extremely poor ball handler.  That's been the main thing that has kept him from "breaking out".  So he's athletic and all but can't put the ball on the floor effectively to create other shots other than spot ups

Wes by far is a better defender and his leaping ability is greater then Henry but as a all around player I think Henry will have a better career. He's shown he can get to the rim has a slightly better shot then Wes and seems to have the potential to make an impact on a season. Could he be a franchise player? Whoa there skippy but can he be the third best option on a championship contending team? Def

Wes seems like he can get BETTER and BETTER

Start hitting his three and rebounding more and being one of the more noted defenders in  the league.

I really like him.

Xavier seems like a good scorer, and a strong body...but I don't see "overall game"

Too bad we couldn't morph Young, Wes, and Xavier into one Frankenstein-like NBA experiment.

A long dude who fearlessly drives to the basket for a 720 reverse lay up?
