Dude we know why we lost. They have Kevin Durant and Westbrook and we don't. They have the refs on their sides, we don't. They had a point guard, we don't. They have bigs that play defense, we don't.

Roadtrip consecutive bad results colud kill this team morale. Mitch has to get a PG, but I think it won't be enough. There are so many wrong things with this team. MDA feels better playing fast basketball, and the two Lakers stars aren't fast players right now. I still don't understand what is MDA doing in LA, or why was he hired...

Oh yeah. They have a head coach. We have an offensive coordinator.

The thing is I don't even have any fun watching the Lakers any more, win or lose.

The whole organization and team is just depressing to watch. They seemed to have lost some serious mojo in the last 2 or 3 years.

You mean you weren't pumped when the Lakers hired D'Antoni?

I was one of the be patient crowd, but this team has some deep seeded issues.

And honestly, I'm not sure if they can be solved under this ownership and coaching regime, no matter who the players are.

I can barely watch an entire game without turning it off for long periods of time at some point.

Sad to say, but true.

^ I feel the same way Fido. Except I never turn the games off I take all of the pain so when we do win it feels so much better. But obviously that hasn't been the case the last few seasons

Lack of interior defense and rebounding will ultimately doom this team.

And what's up with the horrendous FT percentage? 58%? Missed 13 free throws? I mean I know Henry is accountable for most of that, but missing free throws has been a common trend with this team even when Henry is hitting them fine.

I can accept not getting offensive rebounding, but not for a second can I stand giving the opposing team multiple chance opportunities. The Lakers MUST secure defensive rebounds. What's the point of getting multiple stops in one possession only to give up an easy shot since a defensive rebound couldn't be obtained?

Rebounding is absolutely critical for this team because we don't have an efficient offense and we sure as hell aren't a defensive team. By any means. Teams like the Heat can get away with being the worst rebounding team and still win a championship, but they're an elite defensive team with a very efficient offense.

Even after all those comments, Gasol did not play well. You can look at his stats and see he shot 6-10, but most of those shots were because Kobe was working his ass off to set up Gasol for an easy look. Gasol looked aggressive at the start of the game, but once the game started slipping away, he was no where to be found. And 7 rebounds? If you can't score well or play decent interior defense, at least rebound the [expletive] out of that ball.

Having no PG obviously does hurt this team. Kobe not being in shape hurts this team. I hope the Lakers can stay at least within 5 games of .500 while our players get healthy and back into shape. The West is MUCH more competitive than last year.

It takes two games to say you don't have fun watching the Lakers play anymore?

Really?

It's unneeded stress to be patient one day and in panic mode the next.

Not stressing it considering the situation and scenario.

Nah, not really Majesty.

Felt this way for a long time. I try to bury it and move on, but really bubbling underneath the whole time is me not caring about the Lakers even half as much as I once did. I don't panic, the Lakers have zero effect on my life. There are far bigger things in life to panic about.

Honestly, I lie to myself a lot and say that I still have as much passion, but really I don't. Not sure if it will ever be back to where it once was.

Maybe it's getting older, maybe it's other circumstances, but watching Laker games just hasn't been the same for quite a while. The interest is there, but like I said the passion, not so much.

Considering other than starting 1-0 the team has been bad all season, I think he has has plenty of time to form an opinion of the team.

I think so. It happens to some known poster named WhatUSaid or rather Busty Bluth (these days) a lot (although he hasn't been around in some time). Don't sweat it.

Two things OKC are good at:

Destroying the Lakers

Getting destroyed by Miami
