I really liked it.

It could have used more fight scenes but whatever. I came to see monsters destroy a city and I got it.

Could've used more godzilla, we didn't see much of him actually outside the water other than the last 20 min

Watched yesterday in 3D & although it's pretty much what I expected, I really enjoyed the movie.
Even Walter White takes 2nd billing to "Godzilla" (in old chinese dudes voice)

There's a scene where Elle comes out of the hospital & she sees this parachuter coming her way but then something happens behind her. I don't think they showed the parachute guy anymore.

Enjoyed it.  Didn't Godzilla look like he had one too many big macs?

Several friends and colleagues have seen it, and I have yet to hear one good review.

It's another Hollywood Godzilla remake, so most likely people who are more critical when watching every movie and older generation folks are not gonna like it too much lol. But for pure action and destruction, it's a fun flick.. not as good as Pacific Rim, but definitely good.

With movies like this, it's pretty much pointless to even expect it to have some type of good plot.

I don't like taking anyone's word on much, especially on movies. I have to see for myself.

Just watched it. It's the shizzle ! They added a new twist to the whole concept, so it's not a remake. You better see it for yourself.

Everyone I know who didn't like it was annoyed that apparently you don't even see Godzilla until pretty far in and that there's far too many ham-handed and solemn characters without any kind of thrill factor.

And by the way, whatever is done, it is a remake.

Never been a huge Godzilla fan so not in a particular rush to see it really.  Plot always matters.

So it was just like the original? :D

seemed to focus more on plot and then Godzilla was there. I actually did like the story, it wasn't just giant monsters destroy stuff.
