I expect Kobe to be more aggressive offensively.

The first game is more him feeling things out and seeing what he can do.  He showed some flashes and that gives him confidence going forward.

Crucial game. I'm pretty sure Kobe will come out attacking and getting himself going offensively. As the game goes own he will start to look for his teammates. I hope Pau is not a statue tonight.

Good luck with that false hope

I expect Pau to have a bigger game. At least based on his comments: "The same people that were booing will be clapping next time."

Not sure i get the shawne williams experiment?

Also, i can't see posting during the games on these threads...It would lesson my focus on the team.

Anyone else in the "I'd rather just watch the game and enjoy it" camp?

The last game thread was 47 pages so maybe i'm alone

Praying for 1. Kobe's Health, 2. High Draft Pick (Randle!) 3. Miracle Trade (Not yet), 4. Quality Free Agent (Boozer, kind of), 5. Brilliant Coaching Hire (Byron!...but the jury is out)

I used to think the same. But you usually have time to post a short response right after someone makes a shot or so.

Or you can just post during the breaks.

It very well could be.

It'd be nice and almost crucial if we could get a win tonight. The 4 games in 5 nights on the road is going to be tough. so having a record of 11-10 with a momentum win would surely help.

We'll play better than last game though. Less nerves and more executing.

You're Black?

That's nice to hear of course, but I'll believe it when I see it.

I get where you're coming from kball and I know that might sound surprising since I'm often one of the more active ones in them myself, but there are times when I do sorta miss out intentionally just to see the game fully or more or other reasons, but it's really a mixed bag.

Clutch's post is sorta right. You can at least do that, but as far as consistently posting throughout the game, that's probably a bit more taxing, but more times than not, I don't end up regretting it. Most of us I feel including myself seem to have a good time chatting up with other Laker fans as things are unfolding. Pretty cool experience, especially when you can't always set something up in real life with friends or whatever. Hard to find people as hardcore as here.

One of the best things about it though I'll say is that commercials blow by like nothing & even halftime, and if it suddenly slows down in here for a brief moment or whatever, you can always lurk around the rest of the forum and make a few posts if you feel like it on things you haven't read the latest to, which is what I myself usually do.

Have a feeling this one is an L

It'll likely be tough game no doubt. Jeff Horny's got that team playing inspired ball this year and they've some athletic guys over there that get after it.

yo.

Meeks in the starting lineup helps us.

If Pau has another bad game and Kobe is still going through the motions this one is gonna hurt unless our bench scores 80.   Phoenix is no joke

At least Pau sounds like a man with a backbone with his comments.. a slow upgrade. But that fool should come off the bench

Seems like it. Pau hasn't always converted his words into action. But he too looked slightly pissed during the practice video. Kind of looked like a badass saying "I beat Hill and Sacre all the time. Go ask them." Then again, it's practice...
