Watching Jordan Farmar shoot here in Atlanta. Don't be surprised if he plays Friday vs. Minnesota. He'd likely start alongside Kobe.

Seems like bench needs him more than starters, despite Kobe's turnovers

Exactly what I was going to come here to say.

As terrible Kobe's turnovers have been, he can still make a play or create a shot for himself. Our bench is MOST dangerous when we have the duo of Farmar and Young. The bench has been struggling to get easy looks and Farmar would change that.

Sooner he returns the better so he takes the ball out of Kobe's hands when Kobe goes through stretches of monopolizing it to Gasol attempting to save his career as our hole gets deeper and deeper.

Farmar can't rebound the ball for us.

We gave them HOW many second chance 3 pointers

Take those away and maybe we win a close game

We scored 100 points

Our defense has been [expletive] in 3 of the last 4 games and it wasn't one guy tearing up Gasol. It was their team RUNNINg to long rebounds and us waiting for them to float into our hand

Tomorrow, we are going to be TIRED, so I don't expect much different

This is a TEAm problem, not Farmar, not Kobe, not Gasol...EVERYBODY

including Mr. Hill who seems to only really get offensive boards

^Relax Mr. Syntax

They out rebounded us by only 1, and had only 2 more offensive rebounds (although those last few in the end were total momentum killers)

We shot 24% from the arc. Live by the 3, die by the 3.

At the half we were outrebounding them by quite a lot.

LAL need a PG back. Farmar said he's feeling "a lot better" but he hasn't put the hamstring in 5th gear. Eager to return but can't push it.

Why didn't we sign a FA PG?

Arguably the greatest franchise ever

Cause Farmar was returning ahead of schedule.

We still don't have Blake though, it would be nice to have Gibson or someone like that on a 10 day contract, maybe extend it to 20. Just someone who can come in for 10-15 minutes a game and run with the second unit. I think you have to wait until January to do that though, not sure.

Jordan Farmar will be out at least another week. His hamstring has progressed, but not yet fully healed.

Farmar told me yesterday that he didn't think he'd be able to play over the weekend, and today's test confirmed he still has a bit to go.

INJURY UPDATE: Jordan Farmar's ultrasound shows progress but his hamstring is still not healed. He's been ruled out at least another week.

Lakers announce that Jordan Farmar will be out at least another week with his L hamstring tear. He'll be reevaluated Dec. 24.

Another week..not looking good.
