Jordan Farmar had a PRP injection in his left hamstring today. Said this tear was 6 inches higher than last tear. Out 'til late January.

He needs to not rush it this time.

The amazing thing is that all these guys will be back in February while these other guys that are fighting for contracts have to rite the ship.

I guess now is as best a time as any to see who should stay past the trade deadline.

Good to hear, he should continue to be patient.    If Marshall continues to do well and fill the getting starters going role then Farmar can go back to coming off the bench for his sparkplug with Nick Young role.   Better for his overall progression and not pushing too hard when he returns.

Nash and Farmar probably both anxious, as is the Black mamba. You can see it on their faces on the bench.

But we aren't rushing guys back, from what it appears, may Farmar did initially but anyway, too many lower half injuries

Jordan Farmar said he's getting an ultrasound after the Grammy trip. He said he's progressing in "slow motion."

It's not  as "final" in terms of his entire career as fido is saying.

But for THIS year it's gonna be something he's gonna be constantly dealing with.

He can play, whereas I think Nash is much worse off.

But I've known way too many athletes and regular people with hamstring injuries and it always comes back at some point to hinder them.

Farmar getting an injury isn't the end of the world, but hopefully it'll mean we can re-sign him for the vets minimum. After we trade Blake before the feb 20th deadline and Nash have announced his retirement in the offseason, we'll be able to go into next season with Marshall and Farmar as our PGs signed for a combined 2 million.

I'd keep Blake as a 3rd veteran point guard.  You never know.  If Farmar's flared up or something happened to Kendall we'd only have one PG again and then we'd need Kobe to do it..and yeah.. we don't want to put that on him again.

Blake is a solid veteran who can play the 1 and 2 and it would be nice if we could keep him around for a vets minimum deal. Unfortunately, i think he'll end up getting a better offer from a team that needs PG-depth and leadership, which is why i think he should be moved now that he has some value.

He's also been injury prone and is about to be 34 years old.

Baffoonary Fido, that's just silly. I expected a little more from a varsity letterman.

Mike D'Antoni said Jordan Farmar is 2-3 weeks away
