  1. Kaman is out of the rotation, but he just extended both his arms to Farmar & Kobe to help them stand up during a timeout #engagedteammate

What a guy ^_^

Hopefully we can trade him before deadline, since MDA won't be playing him, NO are in need of a big since most of their bigs recently got injured.

Any new quotes or soundbites from Chris? I've actually lost track now. What is this? Like the 5th or 6th consecutive DNP?

The DNPs won't last for much longer as Pau injured his groin tonight.

Wonder what you'll say if we go on a 3 game winning streak with Kaman as our starting center  :clap2:

Funny cause Pau had the groin injury throughout the second half and Kaman saw a grand total of 0 minutes.

Let's face it, Kaman is being treated like garbage and he deserves to be traded by the deadline.

Pau was going to play through it tonight.

However If when he gets checked he isn't cleared to play and he has to stay off it he will and Kaman will play.

Kobe finished the Memphis game with a bone fracture in his knee.  It doesn't mean they cleared him to play the next game :)

Kaman is likely gonna get play time when/if they tell Gasol he needs to take some time off to let that groin heal as the starting center.

Jordan Hill got 28 minutes tonight though and got 10/12.  Kelly had a bad shooting performance but got 10 points during the other 19 and Gasol only had to play 36.   So the only person I'd like to give Kaman's minutes to currently would be Sacre.   Because Hill and Kelly both deserve to play.  Sacre did for a moment but seems to be just a guy picking up 4 fouls now.

But because they're likely trading Kaman by the deadline anyway they're gonna be developing Sacre as he's the guy that has the years extention we gave him and he's the guy who will actually be here next year.

So they're gonna be giving him time and Kaman will be moved by the trade deadline :) For what is the question.

While I agree with most of what you said, it still doesn't make it right to give him DNPs.

Lakers were down double digits with 5 minutes left in the game and Pau still finished the game. No reason why Kaman (or someone else) shouldn't have been in the game.

That's terrible management by the coach (not surprising). He doesn't protect our players, it's that simple. It's not a coincidence the amount of injuries this team has had since MDA took the reigns, Phil Jackson said that much a few weeks ago.

People want to give this team the excuse that they are short handed yet we have a coach who gives DNPs. I like Hill and Sacre but should Kaman be getting 0 minutes night in and night out? No.

Kaman has absolutely zero trade value.  Dallas had him on a one year deal and there is just trade value for th guy.   He gets worse every year and is a wash-out.  Yes, he is a big body but generally worthless.  To me, he's like Greg Oden, only skinnier.

So a guy who's been an all-star before (hi Jordan Hill, hi Robert Sacre, hi "Greg Oden"), has put up 19, 18, & 16 in a few of the rare games he's played this year along with a game in which he pulled 17 boards you mean to tell me is "worthless"?

Spoiler

I'd rather Chris play than Sacre. Sacre is so bad offensively and the Lakers grind to a halt every time he checks in.

Yes and he doesn't play often enough to pinpoint how consistent it would actually be.

Making him perfect trade bait.
