I think attention's a big part. They overdramatize it in hopes of selling it well enough to get enough hits to get their potential short-lived moment of fame.

I think Cruz ends up back in Texas and I still don't see the Dodgers trading Kemp unless the package blows them away.  I like the pieces that the Mariners can give us though.

Houston has the best farm system in the majors. I think they're going to make Nolan Ryan look pretty good in the coming years.

Houston has the best farm system in the majors. I think they're going to make Nolan Ryan look pretty good in the coming years.

True 2Xs. The Astros could really use him. He completely changed the Rangers, leading them to the series twice. He'll demand, and receive, a lot out of those youngsters.
